A five-year veteran of AEB Technologies, Steve is responsible for finances and billing. He also works closely with the company’s ownership to help set the company’s financial direction.
Let’s go one-on-one and learn a little more about Steve.
Hi Steve. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m originally from Lima, Ohio. I’ve been a financial executive for twenty years; and I hold a master’s degree. My wife and I have been married for twenty years and we have five amazing kids.
What compelled you to join AEB?
After speaking with Joe Moore, I was struck by his attention to detail and desire to build the best company possible, with the best people available. After that it was a no-brainer to join AEB.
Has the recent pandemic created any special challenges for you in your job?
COVID has brought a lot of people together to collaborate in our industry, and a true “we’re all in this together” spirit of unity has been my observation. We’ve seen lead-time challenges, as have most industries, but COVID has brought a lot of positives to the surface amongst our colleagues.
What do you like most about working for AEB?
I enjoy the can-do spirit of AEB and what Joe and John bring to the table. They are both extremely positive and are always striving for excellence. It’s a great team to be a part of.
OK, enough about work. What are some of your interests outside of the business?
I am seeking another master’s degree in counseling, as I want to give back for those who suffer grief and trauma. I try to squeeze in studying in between soccer games and dates with my wife. I am also training for a triathlon coming in July.
Last question. What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I love being in the mountains, having spent time in Wyoming, Montana, and Alaska. But having my toes in the sand is a close second.
