4 Questions 4: Scott Cyran

As AEB’s northeastern Ohio representative, Scott serves for current and future customers throughout the region. His daily activities include sales, consulting with contractors and engineers, researching and quoting projects, reading blueprints, completing take-offs, and maintaining contact with current and future customers.

As you can see, Scott keeps plenty busy. We caught up with him just long enough to get his answers to four quick questions.

Tell us a little about yourself. What is your background?

I grew up in Middleburg Heights, Ohio and am a graduate of Midpark High School and Baldwin Wallace University. I owned my own business for 17 years where I sold, installed, and serviced scoreboards, video boards and athletic equipment all over the state of Ohio. My wife Kristine and I have been married for 20 years and we have two dogs -Tibetan terriers named Peanut and Coconut.

Why did you decide to join AEB?

After meeting with Joe, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, intelligence, and positive spirit. He quicky convinced me that working for AEB would be challenging yet fulfilling at the same time. I love to learn new things and am constantly curious.

What do you like best about working at AEB?

I really enjoy helping our customers solve problems with all our products. We offer a diverse range of products and I enjoy the challenge to find the best solutions for each project. I love meeting new people and forging relationships.

OK Last question. Can you share anything interesting about yourself? Any interesting hobbies or a brush with greatness?  

I’m extremely handy and can fix just about anything. I have a custom motorcycle that I love to ride. My wife and I love to travel and love the beach.

My hobbies include fishing and I’m a huge sports fan, baseball being my favorite, followed by football and basketball. I love going to see all the teams live.
